Miles That Matter: Fueling Education Through Travel
This summer, the Exotic Animal Foundation is traveling across the country to share knowledge, build connections, and improve the future of animal care.
Our journey begins July 9th in Pomona, California, where we’ll be part of the Avicultural Society of America, the Organization of Professional Aviculturists, and the LA Pet Fair, connecting with breeders, keepers, educators, and animal enthusiasts from across the region.
From there, we continue on to St. Louis, Missouri, on August 5th, attending the American Federation of Aviculture Conference, where we’ll engage with a national audience dedicated to advancing aviculture, conservation, and responsible animal care.
These events are more than just stops on a map—they are opportunities to:
-
Share trusted, experience-based educational content
-
Support responsible breeding and animal stewardship
-
Strengthen collaboration across the aviculture and exotic animal community
-
Create and distribute media that reaches thousands beyond the event itself
But getting there takes resources.
Your support helps cover the real cost of travel—fuel, flights, and logistics—so we can continue bringing education directly to the people who need it most.
Through both in-person outreach and online media, your contribution helps turn miles into meaningful impact for animals in human care and in the wild.
Our goal: 5,000 miles.
Join us on this journey—because when knowledge travels, compassion multiplies.
